Chapter 1: These first few desperate hours

Hopefully she won’t be emulating her namesake too much. She is a Brooding, Childish, Clumsy Bookworm who Loves the Outdoors and wants to become an Alchemy Artisan. I plopped Mildred down at 45 Lupin Lane, which is the 64×64 lot in Aurora Skies that is right in the middle of town. For some reason the big lots in Aurora Skies are really cheap, so I cheated her funds down to §1800 for appropriate legacy-founding poverty.

First order of business was to go and meet the neighbours, specifically the inhabitants of the Hostility-Free Hostel who are pure and unadulterated legacy bait.

Mildred quickly fixed her eye on one lovely lady in particular, named Angelica Diamond, and decided to utilise the tried and true Childish sim seduction tactic of childrens’ games.

Or maybe just an opportunity for Angelica to admire her, uh, witchitude.

The seeds of a beautiful romance sown, it was off to the library for some skill book cramming (namely gardening, charisma and alchemy).

Then a trip across the road to City Hall to join the Alchemist career, and over to the fire station where apparently it’s okay to steal all the food you want, use the firefighters’ showers, and sleep in their beds.

The next morning it was back to her enormous empty lot to plant the various free seeds that materialise in a sim’s inventory when they learn gardening and alchemy, and to get wifed up.

The magic of tag meant that Mildred and Angelica had become besties overnight, so she came over right away… and made a beeline for the sprinkler. Mildred apprehended her just inside the garden fence and spammed romantic socials at her.

Don’t look too pleased with yourself. Things kept glitching so no matter how many compliments and amorous hugs Mildred gave her, the conversation tone never progressed beyond ‘x thinks y is being flirty’, meaning no chance of wooing her into marrying a woman she just met yesterday without cheating. In the end I used a heat of the moment kiss to at least make them romantic interests…

…and then had Angelica move in via friendly socials (which were working just fine). She brought around §5k to the meagre household funds, allowing them to build this stunning founders’ palace.

You know it’s classy when the outside walls aren’t even painted.

Introduction

Welcome! In these waning days of TS3 I have finally decided to dip my toes into the waters of storytelling. While I have played plenty of multi-generational games this is my first attempt at documenting one.

This is a fairly standard legacy game according to Pinstar’s rules, although I’m not super concerned about points and may play a liiiittle fast and loose when it comes to cheating, because this is my house and I can do what I like. As a witchacy, heirship will pass to the firstborn witch of each generation.

I’m playing with all EPs except Showtime and Into the Future and with most of the nraas suite of mods installed, plus a few others. If you want to know where a particular mod or piece of CC came from, just ask.

Also you should know that everyone in this family is gay. All of them. Gay as geese. If you think that’s unrealistic, well maybe you shouldn’t play a video game where you can own a unicorn and turn a ragdoll into a human being.
